These designs blend my passion for DJing, record collecting, and the timeless appeal of classic record players. Drawing inspiration from iconic turntables and vintage sound systems, I created illustrations that celebrate both the artistry of DJ culture and the tactile joy of vinyl. Each design reflects the intricate craftsmanship of record players, while also capturing the energy and nostalgia of collecting vinyl records. It’s a fusion of style, sound, and heritage—bringing together my love for music and design in a way that honours the roots of the DJ scene.
The designs were sketched out in pencil first and then made in Adobe Illustrator, with the animated loops made in After Effects.
I made a conscious effort to have a restricted palette of four colours for each design.
